Crysp partner with Solicitors Schofield Sweeney to deliver property and legal compliance platform for school clients.

Property compliance platform specialists Crysp has partnered with Yorkshire law firm Schofield Sweeney to provide their building safety compliance platform and services to a number of national Multi Academy Trust (MAT) clients.

Commenting on their partnership with Schofield Sweeney, Pete Mills, co-director of Crysp says:

“We are passionate about the education sector and recognise the need to provide value to property and estate managers in Multi Academy Trusts.  As MATs continue to scale their property portfolios, their liability for reporting on governance, including health & safety, cyber security and good estates management also continues to grow.”

“Our partnership with Schofield Sweeney enables school property managers to move from mislaid documents and outdated manual systems, to a digital platform enabling all safety requirements and records to be centrally managed.”

Crysp was founded in 2020 and in 2021 received a strategic investment from business accelerator TwinklHive, who are backed by  global digital educational platform Twinkl.

Commenting on the partnership, Schofield Sweeney Partner Simon Shepherd says:

"Our school clients benefit from expert help and reassurance when managing their legal and compliance risks. We created our Just Teach programme, a number of years ago, to provide a subscription-based legal package to our education clients, with a guaranteed fixed cost for legal service spend throughout the year. We have hundreds of schools that now use the service from us, and this continues to grow.”

He adds: “Like all organisations, schools also have an increasing burden around property compliance and other health & safety matters. So, it made sense to link up with compliance platform experts Crysp, who provide a digital solution, devised to make property compliance and health & safety records much easier to manage.

“School property managers tell us that Crysp saves them time and reduces their risk of non-compliance.”
