It started with getting fed up of watching history repeat itself…

Prior to establishing Crysp, founding director Stuart Harlow had spent over 30 years (yikes don’t tell him we wrote that number on the website) working within private and public organisations supporting workplaces with compliance challenges.

Fellow founding director, Pete Mills had spent 10 years working on designing and developing digital solutions for clients - by chance a mutual introduction brought them together - and Crysp was born.

One of the key observations for Stuart and Pete was that information was (and is!) often contained within separate systems and software products, team members, and paper based documents. Also, and let us all be honest about this, health and safety is not the sexiest of topics in the workplace, which often leads to really low engagement.

Fundamentally, property compliance and health & safety is about keeping people safe and well - yet because of the poor systems and processes and the “un-sexiness” of it all this space has been long overlooked for some radical disruption.
